Paris Roubaix was awesome. Great race and was by far the biggest race I’ve done. My main objective was to help the team and try and finish but, my ambitions went pretty quickly in sector 20 when we had a disaster fest. First, Cruz, had a mechanical and needed a bike. I gave him mine then Martin double flatted and later in that section Tony would swap my bike for Louder’s looking for something that would fit him better and later he got his own bike from the car but, suffered from another mechanical later in the race. All in all we basically lost 3 guys in Sector 20 and then we lost Cruz after his last mechanical. Wyss suffered a harsh crash and sprained his hand and wasn’t able to continue. However, Moos and Brent toughed it out for the finish. Moos got taken out by a spectator’s flag into his front wheel and took a hard hit to the ground face first. Despite the short term memory loss he managed to finish. This race is big, having never been to Europe to race or watch a classic I had an idea but, you really realize it when you see it.
