Qatar
Stories January 24th, 2008Met and road with the Eddy Merckx today. Qatar is flat and windy. And under constant construction day and night. The roads are nice though. I think we took a total 6 turns in 3 hours as well as a u turn. Flat, straight, and windy. 16mph on the way out 30+mph on the way home. Scott even wore his helmet today.

Cool photos. Have the locals provided any indication of how to pronounce Qatar?

Everyone here has been saying “ka-tar” not “cutter”. But, who knows.
