Crazy

Went riding with Wohlberg and some RH Villa guys yesterday. We did the Spectrum ride, and headed up to Pacifica. Then we did some dirt road and up Tenitas on our way home.

I heard, one day Wohlberg was heading back in from a long ride and he was bonking pretty hard. He grabbed a Gel from his pocket and started to tear it open with his teeth. Right as he did that some dude in a hybrid rolled right up next to him, rolled down the window, and said “Please don’t throw that on the ground!”. He didn’t even have a chance to open the the Gel before some eagle eyed overconcerned jackass comes up and hassles him. The funny thing (besides the fact that he wasn’t going to throw it on the ground) is Wohlberg used to work for the Canadian park service(I don’t know the real name of the agency) and he has planted numerous trees during his employment there. So here is a guy who bought a hybrid yelling at a dude that has planted thousands of trees and done numerous other evironmentally postive acts. Not only that, here is a guy driving, ruining the air, but, he yells at a guy on a bicycle who hasn’t even done anything. So, needless to say, Wohlberg wasn’t too friendly with this guy.

Get out of my way.

Today I almost got ran over by two dudes. As in most cases, these drivers saw me but, wanted to let me know they own the road. One by skimming me in a bike lane and then proceeding to cut me off and make a right hand turn right in front of me. The other was the typical, I have a big truck get out of my way maneuver. This guy just floored it from the stop light and swiped the hell out of me. It was probably the first time I ever saw a confederate flag sticker on a pickup truck in California especially in San Jose. Oh, actually it was 3 times I almost got hit, (that’s my daily average). I forgot about this other lady who was swerving all over the place and running stop signs. I busted out my camera to try and get a picture of her as I finally passed her because she started stopping at stop signs for some reason.

Oh, and I witnessed more road rage today. While at the grocery store, I witness shopping cart isle rage, this lady was freakin out cuz there was isle traffic. You gotta love the person who just stops her cart in the middle of the isle, obliviously, as people from both directions wait for her to move.

Very Nice!

Where to people get the money for these things? There all over the place I can’t wait till they go out of trend.

V for Vendetta

Cherise and I are watching V for Vendetta again. Its a pretty cool movie one of my favorites for sure.

I remember this time I rigged my buddy Matt Dubberley’s hybrid insight. I took all of Zac’s stinky hamper clothes and locked them in his car all day long. (Don’t worry I didn’t leave the cat in there). I was forced to do it as Dubberley had put the “Bone me like you own me” license plate frame he made on my car, for like the 4th time, with out me knowing. I think I have drove a total of 30 days in my life with a bone me like you own me license plate cover on the Exploder. Damn rig! Later I riveted my license plate on so you can’t unscrew it and take the plate off.

Do bike racks come with a manual?

Stories 1 Comment »

I was driving the other day and I came across a rather familiar site. It seems to me that there should be some type of picture based manual for these bike racks. Or maybe a sticker on the rack with the simple illustration of the bikes sitting in each tray in which the rack is designed. This bike was wrapped with probably over 50 feet of twine and then tied off to the bumper.

I wish it was sunny

I wish it was sunny so I could send Dan and Scotty a picture of how good the weather is here, while they are snowed in and getting rained on. But, its kinda overcast and nothing to really brag about. Maybe tomorrow.
