Dumb Questions?

Stories 2 Comments »

The news can get really annoying sometimes. Not just the dramatization and such but, questions in general. I was just listening to a news host interviewing one of the detectives working on this recent shooting of five football (basketball players according to Scott) players in Pittsburg, PA. The lady was asking the detective dramatized questions and the detective was noticeably getting sick of her nonsense questioning. They are still looking for the suspect and one of the lady’s questions is:

News Lady:”So, should the public consider the suspect dangerous perhaps armed and dangerous?”

Detective” Uh…..yeah….this individual should probably be considered armed and dangerous as he did just shoot 5 people.”

Off to worlds tomorrow. Its raining in Salzburg, bummer. It could be clear for Sun though. But, maybe rain is favorable I will see when I get there.

Its seems to me there have been allot of cyclist deaths in the bay area this year. Or maybe I just have heard about them more often than I can remember. Chris Hipp told me about his, first on the scene, experience with the most recent loss this weekend. The Hipster said he heard the collision behind him, while riding, then saw the guy speed past him just up over a rise where he heard the guy crash. He continued up the road to see what happened and ran into a driver who asked him to help him help the guy who crashed but, as they looked down the embankment where the dude literally flew his car off the road they saw the guy get out, grab his Coors can and finish it off as he just got done mowing a guy down head-on 200 meters prior to crashing 50 meters off of the roadway doing an estimated speed of 90 mph. The Hipster continued back down the road to see what the first collision he heard was and he came upon a very graphic scene as one can imagine. Killed cyclist identified — strong bike racer.

In other news: Cherise and I went to see that movie “Crank”. Our review of the movie: An epic experience of an hour and half long headache with frequent questioning of “who exactly decided to see this movie?” and “should we leave now?”.
